Our first wine in the Fall Release is the 2023 Chardonnay!
Introducing the 4th vintage of Cellar 13 Winery's Chardonnay! It's been a hot minute since Darin made a new a Chardonnay, we felt it was way past due - and we are completely sold out of the previous vintage! Aged 8 months on 20% new French Oak, 60% neutral Oak and 20% Stainless Steel - this combination helps retain the acidity while showcasing the fruit proflile. The fruit was sourced from the Kalthoff Common area (Block 12 Vineyard, north facing hillside(cooler climate)) in the Livermore AVA. On the nose, this wine is brimming with green apple blossoms, apricot and white roses. Darin has "turned the knobs" (as he likes to say) on this Chardonnay to produce another great vintage. We're excited for you to try this one!
Your second selection is the 97 point 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon - we're super excited to finally release this wine!
Double Gold Medal Winner 97 points - 2023 Sunset International Wine Competition. Double Gold Medal Winner - 2024 Orange County Wine Competition - awarded top 1% of all wines in OC Competition. Gold Medal Winner - 2023 SF Chronicle Wine Competition. Enough said about the awards, you're going to have to try this wine for yourself to see if you agree with the judges!
After confirming your wine club order (scroll below and choose your wines), make sure to get your 2 tickets for the "First in Line" Wine Club Release party on Sunday, October 13th at Purple Orchid Inn, Livermore. All wines chosen today will be available for pick up at the Release Party!
If you are unable to attend the Party (we will miss you!) we will make arrangements for your delivery.
